Coming to iPhone and Android

Record anywhere.
Hear it everywhere.

Pocket is the phone app for Pulse. Not a mini DAW — a pocket. Record an idea on the bus and it's waiting in Pulse's browser when you get home. Send a mix from Pulse and play it in the car, offline.

App Store — soonGoogle Play — soon

Uses your Pulse account. Uploading needs Pulse Online; playing and downloading your own Pocket never does.

How it works

Capture. Sync. Listen.

Capture

One big record button, a live waveform and a timer. Stop, trim the ends, name it, pick a category — recording, sample, field, voice — and it's saved on the phone before anything else happens.

Sync

Upload to your Pocket when you're ready. Uploads resume after a dropped connection or a closed app, and nothing is ever only in memory. Lossless WAV, as Pulse likes it.

Listen

Export › Send to Pocket in Pulse puts a listening copy on your phone: lock screen and Bluetooth controls, CarPlay and Android Auto, and offline once it's downloaded.

In Pulse

It's just another folder in the browser.

Your Pocket shows up in Pulse's explorer beside your samples: Recordings and Exports, grouped by Today, This Week and Older. Click to preview, press Enter to place, drag onto the arrangement. Recent recordings download by themselves.

  • Your phone's recordings in the browser within seconds of uploading
  • Pocket works offline in Pulse too: what you've downloaded stays
  • Send to Pocket is right beside Export
Pulse's arrangement with drum loops warped to the song's tempo, and the explorer's Pocket tab beside Instruments, FX and Samples.

Pocket is on its way.

It's being built now for iPhone and Android. Pulse owners will find it here and in Pulse's Cloud window when it's ready.
